Irish Photo Rally is an annual motorcycling event which takes place all over the island of Ireland. Participants take photographs of their motorcycle at a number of predetermined landmarks or locations. Different badges are awarded to participants, depending on the number of points they have visited (12 minimum). The purpose of Irish Photo Rally is to encourage motorcyclists, at home and abroad, to ride their motorcycle(s) all over the island of Ireland and to visit places that they may not otherwise go to

Celebrating its 18th anniversary in 2026, BikeFest is a must-attend annual international festival attracting all brand motorcycle enthusiasts in their thousands from all over the world.

Horse racing at Listowel dates back to 1858. We celebrated our 150th year in 2008. With a two day festival in June and a seven day ‘Harvest Festival’ in September it’s one of Ireland’s showcase racing events.

National Heritage Week celebrates Ireland’s cultural, built and natural heritage. A lot of historical places are open for visits free of charge during this week.

The Clonakilty International Guitar Festival (CIGF) returns from the 18th - 21st September. CIGF is an award-winning celebration of all things guitar, with the majority of the festival shows free across the week. Run by a not-for-profit voluntary organisation of music lovers, the festival has many facets underscored by an ethos of sustainability and inclusivity.

Far and away the most popular part of the festival is ‘The Taste Trail‘. Festival goers purchase a book of taste trail tickets and can then visit over 70 venues around the town offering tastings of the best food and drink the Peninsula has to offer.There really is something for everyone.

Every year, the town of Castleisland in County Kerry, Ireland, comes alive with the melodious sounds of traditional Irish music.
The Patrick O’Keeffe Music Festival, held in honor of the legendary fiddler and teacher, Patrick O’Keeffe (1887-1963), celebrates the rich heritage of Irish music and the significant role that O’Keeffe played in its preservation.
