Terms and conditions

Prices:
Prices mentioned on the website are generally per person for one night in a double bedroom. A second person in the same room pays an extra fee. For special arrangements you can check the website or contact us via e-mail.

Booking Policy:
At the time of booking we demand a deposit of 50%. Only after receiving your deposit is de booking confirmed. If you are booking less than 7 days in advance, the total amount is due at the time of booking. The rest of the amount and extra's that were not included at the time of booking will be settled at time of check out. 
Identification such as a current Driving License or Passport will be necessary for inspection on arrival along with proof of address and mobile phone number for the guest staying.  Third party bookings are acceptable only through our listings on booking platforms.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation of a booking can only be done by e-mail through the e-mail address that made the original reservation. If the booking is cancelled up to 7 days before the day of arrival then a cancellation fee of just 5% of the payment made is charged to cover the card transaction costs.
If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the day of arrival, then 50% of the reservation is charged.
If the booking is cancelled within 48 hours from the day of arrival, or in the case of a no-show, then the full cost of the reservation is charged.
In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.

Cancelation during special events:

Because your booking is for leisure accommodation to be provided on specific dates, the standard Policy does not apply to your booking. The cancellation terms below therefore apply from the moment your booking is confirmed.

a. Cancellation by You

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to: info@bikesbeersbedandbreakfast.com
The following cancellation policy applies:

• Cancellations received more than 180 days before the Event start date: 25% of the total order value is retained.
• Cancellations received between 180 and 84 days before the Event start date: 50% of the total order value is retained.
• Cancellations received within 84 days of the Event start date: no refund is due.

We strongly recommend that you obtain adequate travel and cancellation insurance to protect your booking against unforeseen circumstances, including Event cancellation by the Event Organiser.

No refunds are due in respect of no-shows, late arrivals, early departures, or unused nights.

b. Cancellation by Us or Cancellation of the Event

If we cancel your booking for reasons within our control, we will refund all monies paid in full.

If your booking is cancelled because the Event is cancelled, curtailed, or cannot proceed, or otherwise as a result of a Force Majeure event , we will refund all monies paid less the Booking Fee (3% of the total order value). The Booking Fee is retained because it covers payment processing and booking administration costs that we have already incurred and cannot recover.

All refunds under this clause will be returned to the original payment method within 30 days of notification of cancellation. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights.

c. Postponement of the Event

If the Event is postponed or rescheduled to new dates, your booking will automatically transfer to the corresponding new dates at no additional charge. If you are unable to attend the new dates, you may cancel your booking by notifying us in writing within 14 days of our notification of the new dates, and we will refund all monies paid less the Booking Fee (3% of the total order value), with refunds processed within 30 days of receiving your cancellation notice. Cancellations made after this 14-day window will be subject to the cancellation terms in clause 12.1.

d. Changes to the Event

We supply accommodation; we do not organise, control, or supply the Event. No refund or compensation is due from us where the Event or any part of it is altered, delayed, interrupted, curtailed, or otherwise affected (including by weather or by decisions of the Event Organiser), provided your Accommodation remains available to you. Any remedy in respect of the Event itself lies with the Event Organiser or your ticket provider.

 

Check-in Time and Breakfast:
Check in time is from 3 pm to 7 pm. All arrivals outside those hours need to be confirmed in advance. Check out is by 11 am.
A continental breakfast is served in the dining room between 08:00 and 10:00. Cooked breakfast options are available if requested a day prior.
Please inform of any dietary requirements or allergies.
Please note that consumption of drinks and food is not permitted in the bedrooms. You can use the microwave in the dining room.

Consumption of alcohol:
Alcohol is served or sold only to people of legal drinking age and during legal operating hours. Under no circumstances any nuisance will be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse serving alcohol when we deem appropriate.

Behave responsibly, don’t drink and drive.

WiFi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy:
Guests accept to use WiFi access to the Internet fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all our guests.
The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.

Damages & Lost Property:
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimize damage and associated costs. Lost keys will incur a replacement charge per key lost.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage or injuries occurred on or around the premises, be it caused by yourself, other guests, animals or natural phenomena or by any unforeseen event.
Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belonging before checking-out. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.

Smoking:
Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, e-cigarettes, e-liquids, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco, is only allowed outside at the designated smoking area.

Pets & Service Dogs:
We do not accept pets throughout the accommodation, except for service dogs.

Parking:
On-site parking is provided, however guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk. Covered motorcycle parking is provided in the different carports, however also at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft, be it caused by yourself, other guests or any unforeseen event.

Respect for property, hosts, other guests and the environment
Please be aware that there are other guests staying on the premises as well as we live there. Respect the night rest of others. If arriving or leaving outside normal hours please be quiet.
We try and minimize the impact on the environment, please hang up towels you are going to use again. Leave them in the laundry basket in the bathroom if you want them replaced . A change of bedlinen is performed every week for longer stays.

Neutrality 
Bikes Beers Bed and Breakfast is open for all motorcycle enthousiasts and other guests. We have no affiliation with any groups or organisations and we want to keep it that way. If you are a member of a MC, we will ask you to remove your colours while you are on our premises. This is just a measure to maintain our neutrality and by no means meant as a sign of disrespect, in the contrary.

Your Personal Details & Privacy:
We are required to keep a register of guests who stay with us, this includes full names and nationality, and/or passport numbers and place of issue.  These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months and in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation.
You accept that any entries you make to the on-site guest book will not contain personal information or details you would not want disclosed. Any entries containing personal details that may fall into the DPA and GDPR may be removed and destroyed.
We will ask you if you are okay with the use of photographs for publicity purposes before taking any pictures of people or vehicles that are recognizable in any way. If we did not obtain consent beforehand, we will blur faces and license plates before photographs are published in any way.
Your personal information, including above mentioned photographs, will not be shared without your consent except for legal obligations like the above mentioned register.
